Thousands of Palestinians return to northern Gaza after Israeli hostage deal reached

A deal was reached between Israel and Hamas to allow displaced Palestinians to return to the north of the Gaza Strip. The return of the displaced Palestinians was met with celebration, with thousands of people returning to what was left of their homes in the north of the Gaza Strip. Many had been sheltering in tent camps and schools-turned-shelters for over a year.
