Texas woman charged with attempted drowning of 3-year-old Palestinian-American child in alleged hate crime incident

A 42-year-old woman, identified as Elizabeth Wolf, has been charged with attempted capital murder and injury to a child after allegedly trying to drown a three-year-old Palestinian girl at an apartment complex swimming pool in Euless, Texas. The incident occurred on May 19th when police were called to the scene after witnesses reported a woman who was intoxicated attempting to drown the child. According to reports, Wolf also argued with the child's mother before being arrested for public intoxication. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Texas) has urged authorities to investigate the incident as a hate crime, although it is unclear if there is any evidence to support this claim.
