Tens of thousands protest in Valencia over handling of deadly floods

Thousands of Spaniards took to the streets in Valencia and other Spanish cities to express their outrage over the government's handling of the recent floods that ravaged the region, killing over 200 people and leaving 80 still missing. The protesters, who numbered in the tens of thousands, accused local authorities of issuing flood warnings far too late, which contributed to the devastating consequences of the disaster. Many carried homemade signs and chanted slogans, including "Mazón Resign!" and "You Killed Us!", demanding the resignation of regional president Carlos Mazón.
