Tens of thousands of people rally in Belgrade over mass shootings as Vucic steps down as party leader

Anti-government protesters encircled the Serbian state television building in downtown Belgrade. They want autocratic President Aleksandar Vucic to ease his tight grip on the mainstream media. The "Serbia against violence" protests have culminated into some of the largest rallies since widespread demonstrations triggered the fall of strongman Slobodan Milosevic over two decades ago.
