Teenagers Die in Swimming Accident at Coney Island Beach in New York

Two teenage girls, aged 17 and 18, tragically lost their lives while swimming at Coney Island Beach in Brooklyn, New York. The incident occurred on Friday evening around 8 pm. According to reports, police received an emergency call for a water rescue at approximately 8:10 pm, with officers arriving at the scene to find that two young women had entered the water and subsequently disappeared from view. Divers were dispatched to the area of Stillwell Avenue and Boardwalk West, where they successfully removed both girls from the water.
