Teenager known for lifesaving skills dies after shark attack in eastern Australia

A 17-year-old girl, Charlize Zmuda, was fatally attacked by a shark while swimming off Woorim Beach in Queensland, Australia. The attack occurred on a popular beach, and emergency services were immediately dispatched. The girl suffered severe and unsurvivable injuries to her upper body and arms. Despite efforts, she died in the presence of policemen who rushed to the scene. The beach was subsequently closed as a precautionary measure until further notice.
