Spanish Government Denies Authorization for Vessel Carrying Arms to Israel

A ship carrying arms to Israel has been detected for the first time, according to Spain's foreign minister. The vessel, Marianne Danica, is transporting approximately 27 tonnes of explosive material from Chennai in India to Haifa. Despite requesting permission to dock at Cartagena, a southeastern Spanish port, the ship was refused entry by the Spanish government. This decision follows a policy announced by the Foreign Minister, who stated that Spain will not allow ships carrying weapons for Israel to call at its ports.
