South African beauty queen crowned Miss Nigeria after nationality controversy

Chidimma Adetshina was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria on Saturday. She was born to a Nigerian father in South Africa, which led to a nationality row. As a result, she was forced to drop out of the Miss South Africa contest. However, she will now represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe contest in Mexico City in November.
