South African authorities detain 95 Libyan nationals at suspected secret military training camp

A group of 95 Libyan nationals, who claimed to be on study visas to train as security guards, were arrested in South Africa on suspicion of receiving military training. Police investigations and a raid on a farm in White River, Mpumalanga province, uncovered evidence of military training, including military tents, licensed firearms, and other military equipment. The camp also yielded cannabis and cocaine. The individuals are being detained for questioning, but not arrested at this time.
