Son of Norway's Crown Princess arrested on suspicion of rape

Marius Borg Hoiby, a 27-year-old Norwegian man and stepson of Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, has been arrested on a preliminary charge of rape. According to the authorities, Hoiby is suspected of violating the criminal code which concerns sexual intercourse with someone who is unconscious or unable to resist the act. The alleged victim is a woman in her 20s who had met Hoiby for the first time on the day of the alleged incident. Hoiby's lawyer has denied the accusation and stated that his client is cooperating with the authorities.
