Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico was released from a hospital in Banska Bystrica, where he had been recovering from an assassination attempt. The attack occurred when Fico greeted supporters at a government meeting, and the alleged gunman, 71-year-old poet Juraj Cintula, has been charged with premeditated attempted murder.
