Six-year-old Gaza girl found dead days after pleading for help

A six-year-old Palestinian girl named Hind Rajab and seven members of her family were reportedly killed when their car came under Israeli fire in the Tal Al-Hawa area of Gaza City on January 29, 2023. According to various reports, Hind was found dead near Fares petrol station or inside her family's car. Her grandfather confirmed her death and expressed his grief to Agence France-Presse. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its ambulance was bombed while attempting to rescue Hind and her family, resulting in the deaths of two medics as well. Hind had made a desperate phone call for help before the incident but was unable to be rescued until her body was recovered on Saturday. The car was reportedly peppered with bullet holes. The PRCS accused Israeli forces of deliberately targeting their ambulance.
