Jeremy Allen White won best actor in a comedy for the second consecutive year for his role in "The Bear", while Ebon Moss-Bachrach repeated as best supporting actor. Hiroyuki Sanada won best actor in a drama for "Shogun", which also won the best drama series award and a total of 14 Emmys, a record for a single season. "Shogun" and "Baby Reindeer" were among the big winners of the night, with "Baby Reindeer" winning best limited series. The awards ceremony returned to its traditional mid-September spot after a single strike-delayed edition in January.
