Salman Rushdie describes stabbing attack at trial

Salman Rushdie, the renowned author, testified against Hadi Matar, the 27-year-old accused of attempting to kill him in a knife attack. Rushdie described the attack, stating that Matar was stabbing and slashing at him, causing extreme blood loss and wounds to his liver and bowel. Rushdie also noted that Matar's eyes seemed "ferocious" to him. The prosecution believes that the jury can convict Matar based on his own words and actions.
