Salman Rushdie attacker found guilty of attempted murder and assault

Hadi Matar, a 27-year-old individual, was involved in a high-profile attack on author Salman Rushdie in 2022. The incident took place at the Chautauqua Institution in upstate New York, where Rushdie was scheduled to deliver a lecture.
