Russian Court Extends Detention of Wall Street Journal Reporter Evan Gershkovich

Evan Gershkovich, a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, was the first American journalist to be arrested on suspicion of espionage in Russia since the end of the Cold War. The arrest took place approximately one year ago, and the hearing was closed to the media. Gershkovich is currently being held at Lefortovo prison in Moscow.
