Russia opens criminal investigation into CNN correspondent for reporting in Ukrainian-occupied territory
Nick Paton Walsh, a British journalist and CNN's Chief International Security Correspondent, was escorted by Russian military while reporting on Ukraine's cross-border incursion and occupation. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) accused Walsh of illegally crossing the Russian border and filming in the Sudzha settlement area. This incident occurred after CNN broadcast a report from the Russian border town of Sudzha on August 16.
