Russia bombs power plants, Ukraine targets refineries

Russian forces launched a significant missile attack on Ukraine, firing 34 cruise and ballistic missiles from land, air, and sea-based systems. The attack caused damage to energy facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv in western Ukraine. In response, Ukraine launched drone attacks on Russian military and infrastructure targets, including the Kushchevsk military airfield in Krasnodar region. The oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban partially suspended operations due to the attack. Ukrainian security services, specifically the SBU, claimed responsibility for the drone strikes.
