Rosita Missoni died at 93

Rosita Missoni co-founded the eponymous knitwear brand in 1953 with her husband Ottavio Missoni. She was a prominent figure in the Italian ready-to-wear industry and brought the brand to a global market. Missoni was known for her colorful and patterned designs, particularly her signature zigzag motif known as fiammato. The brand, which was first showcased in Milan in 1958, became a fashion dynasty. Rosita Missoni died at the age of 93.
