Romanian Court Rules Andrew Tate's Human Trafficking Case Ready for Trial

The Bucharest Court has ruled that the trial of Andrew Tate on human trafficking charges can proceed. Tate was indicted in June along with his brother Tristan, two Romanian female suspects, and their case was reviewed by the court's preliminary chamber to ensure legality. The prosecutors' evidence management was deemed legal, allowing the trial to move forward. However, no date has been set for the trial to begin. Tate, a 37-year-old self-proclaimed online influencer, was arrested in December 2022 along with his brother near Bucharest. Romanian prosecutors formally indicted all four suspects in June last year, alleging that the Tate brothers seduced victims by falsely claiming they wanted a relationship. The indictment also accused them of human trafficking and rape.
