Robert Pickton Dies Following Prison Assault
Robert Pickton, a 74-year-old former pig farmer, died in hospital following an assault by another inmate. According to reports, Pickton preyed on women from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and took them to his rural farm, where he committed numerous murders in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was convicted of six counts of second-degree murder.
