Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer Engage in Final Election Debate Amidst Voter Frustration and Scandal
The UK election campaign has seen a series of fiery debates between Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer. In their final televised debate, both leaders exchanged personal barbs, with Sunak accusing Starmer of not being truthful on issues such as migration, tax, and women's rights. The debate was marked by loud shouting outside the venue, which was noted as a normal part of British democracy. Interestingly, Rishi Sunak had initially proposed debating Keir Starmer every week for six weeks, but this proposal was rejected. Some critics saw this as a clumsy ploy to make Starmer appear scared or hesitant. However, it's worth noting that the two head-to-head debates were seen as some of Sunak's strongest moments during Labour's election-winning campaign.
