Regional Military Forces Deployed in Haiti to Support Anti-Gang Operations

A team of approximately 150 security officers has been deployed to Haiti, comprising of two groups of 75 soldiers each, one arriving on Friday and the other on Saturday. The deployment is part of an ongoing effort to combat gang violence in the country. A similar deployment of around 400 police officers from Kenya was made in June and July last year.
