Rape Lawsuit Against Jay-Z and Sean Combs Dropped by Accuser

A woman, referred to as Jane Doe, had accused rappers Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping her when she was 13 years old. The lawsuit, which was filed in federal court in Manhattan, has been voluntarily dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled in its current form. Both Jay-Z and Combs have been cleared of the allegations, with Jay-Z stating that the claims were "frivolous, fictitious and appalling". Combs is currently in jail awaiting a scheduled trial. The dismissal of the case comes as a relief to Jay-Z, who stated that the ordeal had traumatized his wife Beyoncé and their three children.
