Protests in Senegal turn deadly as political crisis deepens over election delay

There have been two reported deaths during recent political protests in Senegal. Modou Gueye, a market vendor, was shot and later died from his injuries on Friday in an unspecified location. Alpha Yoro Tounkara, a geography student, was killed by unknown causes during the protests in the northern city of Saint-Louis.
