Prosecutors in Manhattan have proposed various options to keep the historic conviction of Donald Trump on the books, including freezing the case until he leaves office or ensuring that any future sentence does not include jail time. Trump's spokesperson has called these ideas "pathetic". The proposals were made public in court papers filed by the Manhattan district attorney's office, led by Alvin Bragg.
