Pro-Ukraine Russian militias attack border regions ahead of Russian elections

In recent developments along the Ukraine-Russia border, Ukraine has intensified its strikes against Russian oil facilities with attacks reportedly occurring deep in Russian territory. The regions of Belgorod and Kursk have been affected, resulting in at least two fatalities and nine injuries. Pro-Ukrainian militias are said to be responsible for these attacks according to the Russian National Guard. However, three groups of Russian exiled fighters claimed responsibility and were reportedly repelled by Russian forces.
