Prince William visits South Africa to promote environmental efforts and engage with local youth

The Prince of Wales, Prince William, is currently on a trip in South Africa where he is promoting the Earthshot environmental prize. The purpose of his trip is to highlight the ways in which Generation Z and younger children can help protect the planet. During his four-day stay in Cape Town, he will meet with young people aged 18-25 who are participating in the Earthshot Youth Climate Leaders Programme. The trip includes an awards ceremony, where five organizations will receive £1 million in grants for their innovative environmental ideas. The ceremony will be held in a 470-foot-long reusable dome.
