Prince Harry faces legal setback over U.K. security protection

A judge, identified as Sir Peter Lane, has denied Prince Harry's request to appeal a previous ruling that upheld the British government's decision to limit his access to publicly funded security. This legal battle, which started over four years ago, began when Harry challenged the ruling at London's High Court following the Home Office's decision to withdraw his automatic eligibility for personal police protection in the UK. The judge deemed the decision as neither unlawful, irrational nor unjustified and found no compelling reasons for an appeal to be heard. Harry's legal team is expected to take the case directly to the Court of Appeal if they choose to continue the proceedings.
