Pope Francis
Pope declares London teenager as first millennial saint
Pope Francis is set to canonize Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old computer prodigy who died of leukemia in 2006. This would make him the first millennial to be canonized. The decision follows Pope Francis attributing a second miracle to Acutis, which was approved after a meeting with the Vatican's saint-making department. Interestingly, this would also set a new record for the most recent birth date among the 912 people canonized by Pope Francis, previously held by someone born in 1926.
