Police identify driver of exploded Tesla Cybertruck as US Army soldier

Matthew Livelsberger, a 37-year-old member of the Green Beret forces, rented a Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year's Day. The explosion also injured seven people. An investigation revealed that Livelsberger had a gunshot wound to the head and a handgun was found at his feet. The coroner's office suggested that Livelsberger died by suicide before the blast. However, authorities are still investigating the cause of the explosion. The Cybertruck was filled with fuel canisters and firework mortars, which may have contributed to the blast.
