Pilot Charged with Attempted Murder

Joseph David Emerson, 44, faces 83 counts each of attempted murder and reckless endangerment. He allegedly tried to engage the jet's fire-suppression system. The San Francisco-bound flight diverted to Portland, Oregon, where it was met by officers.
