Pakistan Prime Minister orders inquiry into advertisement by national airline after widespread criticism

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) recently released a promotional advertisement to celebrate the resumption of flights to Paris. However, the advertisement has sparked controversy due to its depiction of a plane heading towards the Eiffel Tower with a tagline that reads "Paris, we're coming today". This image has been compared to the 9/11 terror attacks on the World Trade Center, with many social media users expressing outrage and concern. Pakistan's Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, has labeled the advertisement "stupidity", and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an investigation into the matter. Despite this, the advertisement has been viewed over 21 million times on social media since its release last week.
