One dead and dozens sickened across the US in E coli outbreak linked to organic carrots

Multiple states have reported cases of E. coli linked to organic baby and whole carrots. The outbreak, which started in September, has affected at least 18 states, with 39 cases reported as of the last update. 15 people have been hospitalized due to the illness, which is linked to carrots sold under various brand names, including Trader Joe's, Whole Foods' 365, and Walmart's Marketside, among others.
