North Korean defector attempts to re-enter country after crashing stolen bus through border barricade

A North Korean man in his 30s was arrested for attempting to return to North Korea by crossing the Tongil Bridge. He allegedly ignored warnings from soldiers and crashed a stolen bus into a barricade. The man, who defected to South Korea a decade ago, reportedly lives under difficult economic conditions as a construction worker and misses his family still in North Korea.
