New evidence confirms humans were in North America more than 20,000 years ago
Ancient human footprints found at White Sands National Park date to the middle of the last Ice Age. That means people must have been in the Americas even longer than we thought. The footprints were pressed into mud 21,000 to 23,000 years ago.
