About 20 survivors from various camps established by Nazi Germany throughout Europe laid wreaths and flowers and lit candles at the Wall of Death at Auschwitz. Later, the group, along with state officials and other participants, gathered for a ceremony at a brick women's barrack in Birkenau. Nearly 6 million European Jews were murdered during the Holocaust.
