Namibian President Hage Geingob dies in hospital at age 82
Vice President Nangolo Mbumba announced that Mr. Geingob died in the early hours of Sunday morning. The 82-year-old leader had been diagnosed with cancer and revealed his diagnosis to the public last month. His office said he would travel to the United States for treatment, but would return to Namibia on February 2.
