NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre resigns
Wayne LaPierre, 74, will step down on January 31 after leading the NRA for more than three decades. His resignation comes days before a civil trial in New York in which he and other executives are accused of misusing NRA funds. "My passion for our cause burns as deeply as ever," he says.
