Mozambique Opposition Figures Killed in Violence Following Disputed Election

The situation in Mozambique is escalating as the opposition party, Podemos, rejects the provisional results of the presidential election. The results suggest a probable win for the ruling Frelimo party. In response, Podemos has called for a nationwide strike on Monday. The situation has turned violent, with the killing of Elvino Dias, a lawyer and advisor to opposition presidential candidate Venancio Mondlane, and Paulo Guambe, a senior member of Podemos.
