Missing hiker found after surviving more than a month in Canada's snowy wilderness

Sam Benastick, a 20-year-old hiker, was reported missing on October 17 after failing to return home from a camping trip in British Columbia's Redfern-Keily Provincial Park. The park is known for its frigid conditions and avalanche warnings in the winter. Despite being reported missing over a month ago, Benastick was found alive on a service road, reportedly supporting himself with two walking sticks and a cut-up sleeping bag wrapped around his legs for warmth.
