Militant Wanted for Three Decades in Red Army Faction Case Arrested in Berlin

In mid-2016, two heavily armed robbers stopped a money transporter in Germany, resulting in the theft of hundreds of thousands of euros. The perpetrators were later identified as members of the Red Army Faction (RAF), a notorious terrorist group that had been on the run for over 30 years. Specifically, Daniela Klette, age 65, was identified as one of the three individuals involved in the crime. Since the disbanding of the RAF in 1998, Klette and her associates have reportedly financed their lives through robberies of money transporters and supermarket cash heists. Klette is currently being held in Berlin following a police raid, and she is wanted for charges including attempted murder, armed robberies, and other offenses.
