Mexican Mayoral Candidate Gisela Gaytán Assassinated Ahead of General Election

Bertha Gisela Gaytán, a mayoral candidate for Celaya running under the Morena party, was shot and killed on Monday during a campaign event in San Miguel Octopan. Three other individuals, including another city council candidate Adrián Guerrero, were injured in the attack.
