Mehmet Oz Appointed as Administrator of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Dr. Mehmet Oz, a former television talk show host and heart surgeon, has been nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). If confirmed by the Senate, Oz will oversee the agency responsible for managing health insurance programs for millions of older, poor, and disabled Americans.
