Mass graves containing bodies of nearly 50 migrants discovered in southeastern Libya, authorities report

Multiple mass graves have been discovered in Kufra, Libya, resulting in the recovery of at least 47 bodies. The first mass grave, containing 19 bodies, was found on a farm in Kufra and was documented on the authorities' Facebook page, showing police officers and medics recovering the bodies. A second mass grave, found in the same area, contained at least 28 bodies. One Libyan and two foreigners have been arrested in connection with the discovery. The remains of the deceased were taken for autopsy.
