Flight MH370
Malaysia approves new search for missing flight MH370
The Malaysian government has agreed in principle to resume the search for the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which vanished in 2014 with 239 people on board. The new search will be conducted by Ocean Infinity, a US-based marine exploration firm, and is set to cover a new area of approximately 15,000 square kilometers in the southern Indian Ocean. The search will be conducted under an 18-month contract, with Ocean Infinity receiving $70 million if the wreckage is found. This new search comes after several previous efforts to locate the wreckage have failed.
