Macron pledges 2 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine as European leaders meet in Paris

European leaders gathered in Paris for a summit to discuss a "coalition of the willing" to provide security to Ukraine, with the aim of laying out plans for a potential ceasefire. Macron stated that France and Britain are leading efforts to send a "reassurance force" to Ukraine, which was welcomed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. France pledged €2 billion in military aid to Ukraine, and more than 30 officials attended the meeting.
