Louise Gluck, US poet and Nobel laureate, dies at age 80

The New York native, 80, most recently taught at Yale as a poetry professor. She died of cancer at her home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her work was heavily influenced by classical mythology and Shakespeare.
