Lithuanian President Nauseda Re-Elected with Landslide Victory

Lithuania's President Gitanas Nausda won re-election with an overwhelming majority, securing more than 75% of the vote in the second round of the election. According to official results, he received over 76% of votes with 80% of ballots counted after polls closed. His opponent, Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte, won 23.8% of the vote. During his first term, Nausda established himself as a strong ally of Ukraine and a pro-EU leader.
