Lawyers allege Rupert Murdoch-owned tabloids accessed messages from Princess Diana's pager

Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana, is part of a group of over 40 individuals suing News Group Newspapers (NGN) over allegations of unlawful information gathering. The lawsuit involves accusations that NGN's tabloids, including the Sun and the now-defunct News of the World, intercepted landline calls and accessed messages on Princess Diana's pager. A ruling in July 2021 allowed Harry to take his claims of unlawful information gathering to trial, but the judge dismissed his allegations of decades-old mobile phone hacking.
